Ongoing Gratefulness Lace Archive
Updates coming soon....
Thank you! To all those generous folks who have sent lace. (and occasionally other surprises like pigments).
This page will be an ongoing archive of all of the donations of lace sent to me unsolicited. All the lace and linens have been photographed, measured and recorded, to be eventually collected in a book and here on the website. This is only the start- more to come soon. I currently have about 6-8 packages waiting to be opened and documented.
I am awed by the generosity and thoughtfulness of artists, friends and strangers. These contributions have become part of the story of the work, and are included in exhibition info.
For Lace!
Thank you to:
Meg Pierce, who sent an enormous box of lace early on in the Lamentations project, which seemed to really inspire others.
